Tyson Fury Makes Claim As Modern GOAT
In front of 94,000 people at Wembley Stadium, Tyson Fury outclassed Dillian Whyte first, and knocked him out secondly, in the sixth round to be exact, in a heavyweight world title fight.
A snoozer up until that point as Whyte simply couldnât find Fury, who proved to be a hard target to hit. The end came when Fury landed a big right uppercut that Whyte was unable to get up from.
When you list the great heavyweights, mention Tyson Fury.

Undefeated Nick Ball captured the WBC Silver Featherweight Title with a stoppage win over Isaac Lowe in the sixth round, as Lowe has now lost two fights in a row via knockout. Ball dropped Lowe in the second round, things would get worse as Lowe was cut in the third round, and eventually stopped in the sixth.
Heavyweight and London native David Adeleye got a fourth-round KO over journeyman Chris Healey.
Tommy Fury, the 22-year-old younger brother of the âGypsy King,â got a six-round decision over Daniel Bocianski. Tommy Fury is best known for missing out on a Jake Paul PPV fight.

Gesta beats Diaz Jr.

In a crossroads, 135 lbs fight, Mercito Gesta, who trains with Marvin Somodio, defeated Joel Diaz Jr. in the Palm Springs area at Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino. Gesta dropped Diaz twice in the first round, and though Diaz Jr had a couple of good rounds between 3-5, Gesta rallied back and won the fight on all three judgesâ cards.
Gesta, who was coming off a two-year layoff, and honestly, some of his worst performances of his career, just put him back in the mix. Golden Boy lightweight Gesta could face next are Ryan Garcia, Joseph Daiz Jr., Jousce Gonzalez, and William Zepeda.
The co-main event saw Jousce Gonzalez got a sixth-round stoppage over Jairo Lopez, after a lengthy lay-off.
Club Shows
Paul Butler may be the new WBO 118 lbs world champion as his original opponent John Riel Casimero, was pulled last minute over using a sauna, and in his place, we saw Jonas Sultan face Butler, who Butler beat in a competitive 12-round decision.
Middleweight Michael Zerafa got a second-round KO over Issac Hardman. The bout was billed as a feud between the two, but Zerafa made it a short night.
Cherneka Johnson got a split decision over Melissa Esquivel. Esquivel had a hard-fought bout against Erika Cruz Hernandez in her last fight. Johnson feels poised to be on DAZN type card in the next year.
The only other notable thing on this card was in a womenâs super welterweight bout, Kim-Alina Ross and Zoe Putorak fought to a draw in a four-rounder.
MMA in 500 Words Or Less
The two-night Bellator show saw on night one a massive upset as Liz Carmouche defeated Juliana Velasquez, to win the Bellator title. The ending had some debate as Carmouche put Velasquez in a crucifix and though she landed ineffective punches, the ref halted the bout.
On night two, Cris Cyborg defeated Arlene Blencowe by way of a five-round unanimous decision, Justine Kish upset former champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane by unanimous decision, and Yancy Medeiros def. Emmanuel Sanchez won his fight by decision.
UFC
Jessica Andrade submitted Amanda Lemos in the first-round of their bout which should have title implications.
Claudio Puelles defeated Clay Guida via first-round submission
Rising star Maycee Barber got a three-round decision overMontana De La Rosa.
Charles Jourdain submitted Lando Vannata in round one.
