I think Mayer is going to have stamina issues. She's not going to physically be able to avoid Ryan for ten rounds.

Mayer signed a multi year contract in 2022. She will say 147 is the wrong weight class for her and maybe pursue Katie Taylor or Amanda Serrano at 140. Mayer mat throw extra shade at Koroma and may accuse him of giving up her secrets.

Jonas is 40 and boxer doesn't want a rematch. Mayer fears price. And the other champion doesn't bring in money.

I don't think Mayer was as dominant in the Jonas fight as you and Dakota say. I saw Jonas right there with Mayer. But tbh the fight was boring so I wasn't scoring.

If Mayer struggled with a smaller 39 year old Jonas, she's really going to struggle with a sandy Ryan seeking redemption I. America.

And I think the "betrayal" storyline is a big distraction for Mayer. I think Mayer is the one who betrayed Koroma, and the energy Mayer puts into the facade will contribute to her losing.

Like you said, Mayer needs to fight at length and use an ambush style vs Ryan. But Mayer's lack of endurance, her body lacking the time and experience adjusting to 20 pounds of extra weight, and the mental and emotional energy into the betrayal facade is too much to overcome.

I think Mayer's goal is to display toughness, "be a good person" as you say, blame a loss on being the wrong weight class, and leverage her toughness to the next big fight.

(4/4).

The incident at dlx Mayer alluded to was Koroma confronting the new coach at dlx.

So Mayer presented it as the gym owners being so disgusted with the "betrayal" that they sided with Mayer and banned Koroma from working in dlx.

Coaches flick and Koroma assisted sandy Ryan for mcNoSkills in September 23 *after* Mayer moved to 140 lbs earlier the same month.

From interviews, Mayer said she felt Koroma tried to "double dip" by training both her and Ryan.

And Mayer implied that Koroma should have been acting in a manager type role to "guide her career".

To me, the post Jonas fight interview shows Mayer is the "blunt American". She openly stated Jonas had a rematch clause, but Mayer didn't, and Mayer tried the whole manipulation thing to get the rematch.

I imagine Koroma knew Mayer's personality and tried to avoid a direct confrontation about assisting Ryan in the harper fight.

Koroma said he wouldn't assist Ryan in any fight with Mayer. So there's no "conflict of interest".

Teofimo left top rank hung out to dry with the Madison square garden date. So I think Top rank worked with Mayer to spin a"ultimate betrayal" story.

And Mayer ditched Koroma, she presented him and flick as the traitors in order to secure the bag

(2/3) Mayer resigned with top rank just prior to the Jennifer Han fight for big money and big fights.

After losing the first two big name fights, Mayer is riding out her career and contract looking for big money

(1/3) Mayer can't fight on the outside because she doesn't have the stamina.

Mayer fought at 130 her whole career until fighting at 135 in April 2023, 140 in September 2023, and 147 in January.

So she's moved up three weight classes and seventeen pounds in 21 months at age 34.

She is physically incapable of fighting at length, even with two minute rounds

Mikaela Mayer has the career Ginny fuchs thought she would have after tokyo.

Fuchs problems were 1. Waiting for Tokyo aged her out; and 2. Top rank already had Mikaela Mayer.
